Dryplast Fire Protection can ensure your building is safely and legally protected from fire, we can also assist with retrospective work, as well as emergency work.

Building regulations now outline the need for large buildings to be divided into compartments and specify the level of fire performance of the compartment walls and floors needed to preserve both building structure and life through fire and smoke containment.

In most buildings, mechanical and electrical services by necessity will breach compartment walls and floors allowing failure of integrity and insulation to occur where gaps around services have not been adequately fire stopped. Dryplast Fire Protection can correctly install certified fire stopping systems, that will contain a fire at its source and limit the risk of the destruction caused by the spread of fire and the release of toxic gasses.

What we do

We offer a wide range of fire safety services from passive fire protection to expert evaluation of your existing fire protection processes.

Retrospective work

If a fire separating element is to be effective, every joint, imperfection of fit, or opening that allows services to pass through the element, should be adequately protected by sealing or fire stopping so that the fire resistance of the element is not impaired.

To achieve this, it is often required to install fire stopping retrospectively. Our certified installers are experienced in carrying out fire stopping works in all situations, taking care to leave all existing finishes in the same state as before the works were carried out.

Emergency Work

It is often the case that the fire integrity of a building is compromised, this could be due to water damage from pipe leaks, mechanical and electrical (M&E) works being carried out etc.

As our qualified installers carry a supply of fire stopping material with them, we are able to attend a site at short notice, sometimes the same day, to rectify any damage caused and provide certification once the works are complete.

Surveying

Our team of certified and experienced Managers and Supervisors are available to visit your premises, specify materials, advise on works required without over-engineering and provide you with a competitive quotation.
